Whatever.
His name is Daniel, and he's a fucking cynic. He was on born the 7th of August and raised in the jam-packed city of Boston. His parents are both artist-types, his mother leaning towards music and his father towards metal-crafting. His grandfather on the XY-side of the family was a reporter for the Times. All of his life, Daniel's been propelled towards a career that called on his creative genes. He stayed on the music scene at all times, attending small concerts in pubs and a clubs and large events on whatever venue he could get to.
As young as fifteen, he was writing reviews on bands in the area, posting them online and small magazines, when they would take them. He took every pop-culture and writing class he could in high-school, and some college courses at night or on the weekends. By the time he was seventeen, he'd managed to develop a small following on the blog he kept in his corner of the internet.
He decided in the summer after his senior year of high-school that he wanted to go out of the country, to a 3rd world settlement for the summer. It would be an opportunity to get a sense of the world outside of luxury.
He spent three months in Thailand, helping to maintain one of the destitute orphanages. Living in a land of such extreme poverty, where children learned at a young age how to fight to win money, was a time of disillusionment for Daniel. He returned to America, seeing the country in a new light; a multitude of human beings who saw ugly things in the media and demanded action, but were too cowardly (himself included) to do a thing about it.
Cynical and unsatisfied, he wrote his report on the atrocities of the modern world and watched it swallowed up on page five.
Screw that.
Daniel began to write for music magazines again, refusing to involve himself in anything relating to the social reform of the rest of the world. He knew for a fact that his voice was too small to make a difference.
He hopped onto the No Vacancy Tour as an assignment for the magazine he currently works for, The Modern Trend, and has been busying himself with snapping pictures and taking notes ever since.
APPEARANCE:
Daniel tends to lean towards the widely preferred 'metro-sexual' ensemble. He sports Skinny Jeans and extra-small t-shirts, with a variety of bracelets, gauges and necklaces to decorate his slender, beta-male-build. He keeps his hair in the 'Shag' model, at times beneath a cap, and rarely brushes it.
PERSONALITY:
By the account of many of his co-workers, Daniel has a stick permanently installed in his ass. He doesn't tend to have 'fun' with anyone but his closest friends (which are notably scarce on this tour, thus-far), and while he'll put up the usual front of being friendly and outgoing when he's running an interview or spending time with any of the bands, he usually has an inner monologue of “HORSE-SHIT!HORSE-SHIT!HORSE-SHIT!” playing in his head.
He enjoys the company of people who aren't under the illusion that donating 10 cents a month to a charity is doing anything to stop poverty or end the world-sex trade. If he discovers that someone can spin a conversation without the bullshit, he will count them as a passable member of society.
Daniel does not fight and could not win if he tried. He avoids physical confrontation at all costs, and isn't afraid to run.
