He was usually happy and full of life. But early mornings turned him into someone who seemed almost dead in both appearance and actions. It was after he totally realized that he was acting this way that he decided he probably needed a good cup of coffee and probably a nice warm cookie. So maybe the latter wasn’t totally needed, but it certainly wasn’t under appreciated. Ander pretty much liked anything that was warm in temperature, even if it tasted like total crap.
He turned the corner, walking rather quickly, his arms swinging back and forth in time with his feet. He needed that cup of coffee. He didn’t need a mirror to tell that he looked like crap. While his hair fell in place, he was sure his expression wasn’t lively, and there were dark circles under his eyes. His skin was probably really pale too, though it usually wasn’t all that tan either. He wore darker colors today, of gray and black, with a hint of blue here and there. Someone could just look at him and tell that he was either metrosexual, or homosexual. He was indeed the latter. But right now, he couldn’t care what people called him, though he wasn’t exactly being spat at and called a fag either. But no matter, he just had his mind on a warm coffee and the possibility of a cookie.
He pushed the rather heavy door of the café open, groaning with the effort, before noticing how warm it was inside, and the lovely smells wafting through the shop. He smiled lightly, walking up to the counter and ordering a frappe and a chocolate chip cookie. Once he got his items, he sat down and began to sip on the source of caffeine that he had chosen, sighing at the way the warm brew slid down his throat. He already felt more awake, and the caffeine hadn’t even been in his system long enough.
He slid down into the chair he was sitting in, closing his tired eyes for a moment. It felt nice to be able to relax. He had to get up early to do some stupid photo shoot for a poster that was going around the town. Luckily they had been able to hide the tiredness behind loads of make-up. However, as it wasn’t good for your face, they had taken it all off before he left, leaving him looking worse than he had before. He couldn’t even remember if Keagan had been at the photoshoot, or if he had rudely left him there in search of coffee. He squirmed uncomfortably, worried that he had been a horrible friend. He wasn’t a morning person, like most of the population, so he couldn’t even remember if his best friend had been there.
“Hm…. If I’m lucky, he wasn’t. Otherwise I’m going to end up feeling like a pretty shitty friend before the day is over.” He said, biting his lip lightly, taking another sip of the frappe.

& I WAKE UP EVERY EVENING WITH A BIG SMILE ON MY FACE ( and it never seems out of place ) Keagan had woken up that day in a bad mood. This wasn't unusual, ever since he was a kid he would wake up with a terrible temper. The fact that his manager was screaming in his ear to get up for some photoshoot wasn't making things better. He had practically growled at her, then noticed Ander was already awake. He figured fighting wouldn't help anything, so he got up as well. The photoshoot went pretty quick, but Keagan was for the most part distracted. He had known Ander long enough to know when something wasn't right. The sluggish posture, the forced energy. He worried for his friend, though he kept comments to himself until the photoshoot was over.
He didn't bother complaining or even blamed his friend when he left immediately after the shoot. He knew where he was heading and Keagan wouldn't be too far behind. But he had to stay back for a few minutes, just to straighten a few things out. Once he was releaed from the clutches of the photographers and a looming manager, he made a beeling for the door. It had been about five minutes since his bandmate had rushed out. Keagan felt no ill will toward him, knowing exactly how his closest friend felt. He wandered along and soon happend upon the local cafe. He looked thorugh the door and soon spotted his friend and bandmate near the corner of the cafe. He pushed a hand through his chocolate colored hair and pushed open the door. He could use some caffeine, it had been far too long.
He watched his friend from the corner of his eye as he walked up to the register. He placed an order for a mocha coffee. He paid for it when it arrived and made his way toward the table where his friend was. He didn't bother asking and simply collapsed in the chair across from him. He watched him for a moment, then sighed. "You look like hell, Man." He said, jokingly. He offered a small smirk, hoping to lighten his friend's mood. When his friend was down, he was down too. It bothered him to see Ander like this, usually he was all smiles and crazy. Now he was just sullen. He tilted his head, waiting patiently for a response, be it a snap or a remark to go along with his joking manner.
It then occurred to him that maybe his friend was like him, someone that woke up with a bad temper or just wasn't a morning person. He immediately felt rediculous for worrying when nothing was really wrong. He could almost laugh at himself. He glanced away and continued sipping at his coffee, thinking over everything and feeling his temper fade and gaining a little more energy.

He rolled his neck so that his chin was still supporting his head, but he was looking at Keagan. He gave a light smile that was more or less coffee induced. However, it wasn't like he was drunk and didn't realize that he was smiling either. He usually smiled at everyone, but in the end, his friend was the main reason he smiled. Ander never had a good friend like him before. His was the only young family in his old neighborhood in Orlando, so he never got to hang out with kids or even teens his age until he actually met Keagan.
"Even like this I look sexy. What are you talking about?" he questioned, grinning like a total idiot. It was clear that he was still sleepy, but he was happy that he was hanging out with Keagan, so it wouldn't really matter if he was dead on his feet. Sometimes he felt like it was all about the tour, and they couldn't have any good times except for on stage. He knew he shouldn't feel like that, but he couldn't help it. His main goal for this tour was to have fun making the music that both he and Keagan liked, and have good times together. Sometimes it just seemed to be too much.
"I'm so tired. Why a photoshoot? Keagan, I think I might die." he said, lifting his head. He grabbed the cup holding his frappe, and took another large drink. He took a bite of the cookie that had cooled off to a luke warm instead of a blazing hot out of the oven. He enjoyed warm things. Warm weather was his favorite of course. It made him sometimes miss Orlando.
“I’m sure you weren’t happy about the shoot either. You’re always so angry in the morning.” He said, smiling happily. He loved hanging out with Keagan. Quite honestly, they could be totally silent and it would still make Ander smile somehow. Keagan was truly his best friend, and would probably remain that way for a really, really long time.
“I was really tired, and kinda ticked. But now I feel better. Even though the only thing you did was insult me.” He said, grinning. He obviously got that it was a joke. He knew he looked like hell anyways, but Keagan didn’t say it to be mean. If he meant to, Ander was pretty sure it would have been much more obvious.
