" Jon's been playing music for eighteen of his twenty two years, and was strung out for five of them. He was born on July 4th and lived like a firecracker for years before rehab forced him to settle.

Appearance:
Since getting off Crank and Heroin, Jon's put on muscle, carrying a powerful build on a tall frame. While he's perfect for a fight, and even a bit of a boxer, this blonde/red-headed double-bass enthusiast rarely allows himself to be moved to actual violence (though he's been known to fight on behalf of his band-mates and to keep the peace). His knuckles are permanently scarred and his arms still carry marks from his past, but the ugliness is over come by a mouth and eyes that usually smile. (optional)

Attitude:
Jon is usually peaceful, finding it's easier to stay away from old habits if he keeps a calm, clear head. The desire to shoot up still exists for him, so he has to concentrate on staying clean. He can be moved to anger by the self-destructive nature of people he cares about. He's serious and intense when on stage, a bit of a wallflower in the merch-booth, and a listener when with his bandmates. The band is a lot of his world. Jon is vaguely religious, but more spiritual. He keeps his beliefs to himself, but has a cross tattooed on the inside of his wrist.

History:
Jon started playing music at a young age, messing around in the music scene and finding the good and bad things about it right around the same time. When he was fifteen, he started dabbling in drugs and fell into a pretty deep hole. He overcame his addictions to opiates and uppers at the same rehab where he met the people who would one day become the Weekend Warriors.

Anythingelse:
Jon's first love in music is the drums, but when he began to play with the Weekend Warriors, it became apparent that the role he would need to fill was bass. He also plays mandolin and some guitar.

Jon is put off by the lead guitarist of his band, David Harlem, for his bold-faced addiction. He cares about all of the members and doesn't want to see any of them return to their addictions. He's been known to more than once drag David out of a bar or away from a drug deal.

"So, like, where's your screamer-chick? Is she coming out? We've been waiting for, like, and hour to get her autograph." The girl accosting the poor, weary Jonathan, was a bottle-blonde with rich green eyes and legs that a model would envy. She'd obviously learned that the best way to attain her every wish was to display her considerable merchandise. She'd been leaning earnestly over the merch-table for the past fifteen minutes, flashing a look down her shirt, where the curves of her breasts and the red lace of her braw were clearly visible. The drummer was unaffected, blinking up at her as he sat back in his folding chair. The show had been thunderous and awesome and draining, and he had used all the energy he had to give on it. Sitting now behind a folding table of t-shirts, arm-bands, posters and CDs, he didn't have the wherewithal to entertain this woman or the balls to tell her to take a hike. He gave a small, curt nod, gulping down a mouthful of water from the bottle he'd been carrying around. "I really can't say where she's at, ma'am."
