Downstairs? What? Lana was only nineteen - there was no way she was going to get a drink. She was sure Danny wasn't too much older than her either. What had he said before? He was only twenty, correct? He wasn't making any sense, and Lana knew he was talking out of spite. As he grabbed her wrist though, she instinctively pulled away, even though he already had a hold on her. She was trying to pull away, but the grim he had on her was firm. He wasn't hurting her, he just had a sticky hold. So, she allowed herself to be escorted around, until they reached the door. Then, in an instant. The scene changed from a obscure, dark, heat filled festivity to a lonesome, bright, white hallway, covered with that generic hotel carpet again.
Pulling her hand away from his, she then proceeded to rip what was left of that shirt (considering she had cut and ripped the shirt to her own style herself) and held it up to his nose, pushing the other blood covered hand away, shaking her head and giving a mock "tsk" to the boy. "At this rate, what would happen if he had actually touched me again?" She grinned, joking, and dabbed at his nose, making a face at all the blood. "We're not gonna be able to drink downstairs, and your bleeding all over the place anyway. I've got those little bottles of vodka they put in the minibar in my room, and we could drink there. You need this cleaned up anyway." She insisted. outfit; clicka the hereee notes;

"I... Never do that," Danny said. He covered her hand with his when she held the shirt to his nose. "I'm the most chicken-shit person on this tour." It was true. He was used to running from trouble. It was an undeniable shock that this girl was the 'something different' between this scene and all the other situations in which Danny had possessed the good sense to walk away from a fight.
His pride was the most injured thing on this occasion. The prospect of getting away from this party was appealing, but, to his chagrin, he wasn't quite ready to call it a night with Lana. "So where are you crashing? --I don't think I'd like to be in the hall if Kevin comes looking for us." No thank-you. No further explanation. He couldn't bring himself to be totally courteous just yet.

"Well, I'm glad your the one you did it for." Lana said softly, her eyes meeting his with - for once - a shy smile. Pulling her hands away slowly, she nodded, pushing her bangs out of her eyes and glancing down at her ripped t-shirt. "Yeah, and if a draft comes through this place, I'm screwed." Laughing, Lana took one of his hands away from the what looked painful injury, and started walking with him towards the opposite end of the hall. While the party room had been 324, Lana's room was 342.
"I'm staying all the way down the hall, so no elevators this time." Lana smirked up at him, intertwining her finges with his as she gladly walked with him. outfit; clicka the hereee notes; bah D: sorry.

Danny followed her lead down the hallway, holding the improvised bandage to his nose. Her hand was small and warm and a decent fit to his writer's paw. "Yeah. Thanks for desecrating your garments for me. I'll bet that wasn't how you were expecting to end it's career."
Well. This had been a day of events. He'd somehow gone from conducting an interview to throwing fists and demanding hard alcohol; both violations of his personal code. Since when did he make a tool of himself for the benefit of some woman he fancied? Charming, Danny-Boy.
Danny took the rag from his nose, sniffing, and detached his hand from hers. He reached to adjust his glasses, which had been knocked askew.
notes: --At least I THINK her hands are small. It looks like it in her pictures. She's so cute.

Today had certainly been a mouthful, to say the least. It had started out with an interview that Lana had purposefully corrupted to attain more time with Dan, escalated to a heated and hot party, hit off with a bloody, most likely fractured nose, and was all rounded up to end by drinking in her room. Well, either way it sounded good to Lana! As his hand let go of her own hand, she reached into the pockets of her pants to retrieve a slim white card, the pass key into her room. Sliding it in and out quickly like she was told, the light turned green on the mechanism that was attached to the handle, and they were in. Lana entered, allowing John room to walk in as well before she closed the door behind them, locking it just as a habit.
Looking around the room was a big indicator as how to tell it was Lana's room. There were several factors. Firstly, the pile of food sitting on the mini table next to the TV. As everyone knew, Lana had a man's appetite and certainly could eat. Secondly was Lana's suitcase on the floor, with all her clothes exposed, or things sitting atop her suitcase. Thirdly was the latter of books, papers, and pencils scattered around. See, Lana was still trying to do the whole college thing, even if she wasn't getting the college experience. At the moment she was taking two online courses, and was still keeping up with that best she could on tour. Giving a small laugh, Lana moved to gather up all the papers that were sitting on her desk and shuffled them into a neat pile, placing them in a folder and throwing it on her suitcase - then reaching over to grab a gray t-shirt from her case as well.
Lana didn't give a damn about how girls were supposed to remain subtle, and it was obvious as she changed right in front of the boy. She didn't find it a big deal, seeing as she was only changing her shirt, and besides, she had a sports bra on. It wasn't as if he hadn't seen skin before. Tousling her hair, Lana pointed to the bathroom. "First things first, let's clean that up."

Dan's head had fallen to a contemplative angle when she turned around to direct him. His pupils re-focused, his retinas still swimming with the image of her body, minus the desecrated t-shirt; her skin, the strap of her sports-bra, the mild curves between her hips and rib-cage. He realized she'd issued an order to him and snapped to attention, his posture reassembling into that of a man who had canceled out his chirping libido.
He ambled into the bathroom, laying the lid on the toilet down and depositing the bloodied t-shirt in the waste-basket. Danny grabbed a wad of toilet paper to replace it, wiping at the mess he'd made of himself. "This must be appealing. Sorry about the scene." He pressed the bridge of his nose gingerly, wincing as he confirmed that is was indeed tender. No shit Shirlock.

Lana followed him into the bathroom, clicking her tongue at him jokingly as if she were scolding him. Lana did a small whirl-about in the hotel bathroom, searching to see if there was anything of use. Licking her lips, she bit down on her lower lip gently, thinking. Her fingers found the cheek of her face, tapping to a small rhythm before she finally reached under the sink and was able to find a small first aid kit that she could tell no one had either found or bothered looking for.
Opening it up, Lana pulled out a sterile cloth and dabbed some Neosporin on it. Reaching up on her toes, she went to gently dab at his noise, her face inches from his. This, however, was completely oblivious to her up until she met his eyes, widening in shock. Did he mind her being this close? Another thought crossed Lana's mind though and over took that one, which was to hell with it. She wanted to kiss him, now, while she was still sober. And so, she did. Lana moved the cloth away from her nose, angling herself so their noses didn't bump.

Danny's immediate instinct was surprise. His head jerked back by a millimeter as her lips grazed over his. Following the surprise was any man's proper reaction to such intimate contact with a girl. He didn't kiss her back so much as relish the softness he'd been admiring since he'd met her that morning. It was a two second pause, which was so very long in matters like passion and romance. His hands fell to her hips, his own hips pressing instinctively against hers.
Who could blame him? He was only 100% human. He hadn't been with a woman for ages, and even if he told his body it didn't need such frivolous things, his body was calling 'bullshit'.
He kissed her, closed lipped, an excited breath whistling in a very unromantic way from his damaged nose. The boy's hand climbed a few inches up her back, stopping only as his brain registered what he'd plunged into. Danny drew back, looking down at this hurricane of mischief he'd agreed to spend the evening with, trying to gauge how serious the situation was about to become.
